Here are a few resources to use at home to ensure that all students have an opportunity to continue learning! I will be posting BOTH through Google Classroom AND PDFs or Word documents of the same assignments here on this site to accommodate both those comfortable with online learning AND those who may prefer to print out work to complete offline. Just remember that the resources will be the same in both places and that work is being done for enrichment only.

Google Classroom – For Google Classroom just log in to your Google account (or create one), click the apps button in the top right-hand corner and scroll down to the Google Classroom button. Once there, choose the plus sign to add or join a class. Join the appropriate section using the codes below.

Khan Academy – SOME google classroom tasks will link to Khan Academy where if you create a profile you can log and track your progress. A Khan Academy account is not REQUIRED to complete those tasks.

Khan Academy Native American Societies before European contact (Khan Academy should have sent you a link inviting you to join Khan Academy IF you are currently enrolled in one of my Google Classroom classes but you CAN just watch the videos at the link above and follow the directions below)
Watch the following videos via the link above. While you watch, create a graphic organizer that records what you learn about each of the regional societies – Native Americans of the Southwest, West, Northeast, Southeast, and the Plains. When you have completed your organizer and the practice activities that go along with the videos upload the document with your graphic organizer (either as a word or pdf attachment OR a photo of the document you created by hand).
This can be done via Khan Academy, Google Classroom OR at home on paper as long as you have online access to watch the videos.
